Stove Warranties

Archer Stoves

  • All Archer Fires come with a 5 five year limited warranty on the stove body, and a one year limited warranty on gas and electronic components. Fire is a destructive force and therefore not all parts inside the firebox are covered under the warranty, such as firebricks and door glass. We would suggest speaking to one of our dealers for more information on this.

Clock stoves

  • All Clock stoves are covered by a standard 12-month warranty, which is valid from the date of purchase. Clock Woodburners will extend the standard warranty on the stove body to 7 years if a warranty registration form is completed on our website within 60 days of purchase from an authorised dealer.
  • The warranty is not transferable and is solely for the benefit of the original purchaser of the stove. Please retain your dated proof of purchase at all times.
  • The 6-year extension only applies to stoves purchased through our approved dealer showroom network and installed by a registered HETAS or OFTEC installer. If you are planning a self-install, then you must provide a copy of your Building Control Certificate sign-off sheet when registering your stove to qualify.
  • Any New Clock stove purchased via a third party, such as an unauthorised dealer or online, will carry a statutory 12-month warranty and call out charges will apply.
  • To maintain your warranty, you must undertake and keep regular records of a yearly service carried out by a recognised and qualified professional. The warranty will not cover faults occurring due to the lack of maintenance or appliance abuse. Clock Woodburners reserve the right to fix any problems on site.

Dru and Dik Geurts Stoves

  • All DRU products meet the strictest quality requirements. Each fire or stove undergoes numerous meticulous tests before leaving the factory. The guarantee duration on model components is two years.
  • It may however arise that you experience a problem with your fire or stove. If this is the case please contact your dealer or installer: state your model's serial number; this is a ten digit number listed on the name plate. Your dealer or installer will try to resolve the problem.
  • When trying to resolve the problem your supplier may request advice or the subsequent delivery of components (under guarantee) from DRU. Should any problems arise the supplier can contact the DRU Service Desk. One of our engineers will come to your home to resolve the problem. If the model is still under guarantee and has been installed and used as per the guidelines, this service will naturally be free of charge.
  • DRU delivers components necessary for the functioning of the model up to 10 years after the termination of the last product range.
  • If you have any questions regarding our products or services please contact us. We will do our utmost to answer your query as comprehensively and quickly as possible.
Dik Geurts
  • Alongside the standard legal manufacturer warranty, Dik Geurts appliances have a warranty period of 5 years on the construction of the appliance body. A warranty period of 6 months applies to consumable materials such as the glass, rope seal, inner bricks and the baffle plate. The flue gas discharge duct and its installation are not part of the appliance and are therefore not covered by the warranty.
  • The warranty is void in the event of the appliance being modified/adjusted, improperly used, overloaded/overheated, incorrectly installed, missing its serial number/type plate or if the appliance has been left in a humid, damp and/or unheated environment. Dik Geurts reserves the right to judge this.
  • With normal use, it is possible that (mild) discoloration of the paint may occur over time. This is considered normal and therefore not covered by the warranty.
  • The dealership from which the stove was purchased is responsible for handling the warranty. If you have any questions and/or complaints, always contact the dealer first. After assessing the complaint, and if the appliance falls within the statutory warranty period of 2 years, the dealer may call in the help of a Dik Geurts service technician on site. The costs of exchanging an appliance outside the legal warranty period of 2 years will not be reimbursed.
  • The date on the proof of purchase is used as the start date of the warranty period. Keep the proof of purchase carefully as it is required for a warranty claim.

Fireline Stoves

  • PLEASE NOTE: The first two years are parts and labour, and the extended five years are parts only.
Your Fireline Stove warranty commences from the date you purchase your stove, and you need to retain your receipt or invoice
    as proof of purchase.
  • Your stove comes with a two year parts and labour warranty, with the option of extending the parts warranty for a further five
years if you fill in your warranty registration online within one month of purchasing your product. For any warranty-related
matters, kindly reach out initially to the retailer from whom you purchased the fire. Your contract primarily resides with them,
and in most instances, they possess the capability to address and resolve your concerns. If they are unable to assist, then they
will escalate the issue to us for further resolution.
  • Whilst filling in your registration form online at www.charltonandjenrick.co.uk you will require the details of the Authorised
Charlton and Jenrick dealer you purchased the stove from. Only stoves purchased from an Authorised Charlton and Jenrick
Dealer and registered within the allotted time will qualify for the extended seven-year warranty.
For the extended warranty to be valid the installation of the stove must comply with relevant Building Regulations and must be
carried out by a suitably trained and qualified person (HETAS or other competence scheme registered in the UK or equivalent
in other countries). The installer needs to complete the certificate of installation and the commissioning report, and you need to
keep these to produce should you need to make a claim against the warranty. This warranty does not cover any aspect
whatsoever of the flue arrangements for the installation, or the installation work itself, as these are beyond the control of Fireline
as the manufacturer of the stove. It is a condition of the guarantee that the flue be swept, checked, and cleaned by a suitably
qualified individual as appropriate at least once per year. It is also a condition of the warranty that you have your stove serviced
annually by a suitably trained and qualified person (HETAS or other competence scheme registered in the UK or equivalent in
other countries) and any maintenance work needed be carried out at this time. Stove paint finishes require touching up or re
painting from time to time and failure to maintain the surface finish of a stove can lead to unnecessary corrosion. Looking after
the paint finish is normal maintenance and not covered by warranty. Receipts and records of the annual services are required in
the event of a warranty claim after the first 12 months and in the period of the extended warranty.
  • Replacement or repaired products are only covered for the remainder of the original warranty period.
  • Should you wish to make a claim, in the first instance you should contact the Authorised Charlton and Jenrick Dealer you
purchased the stove from. They are experienced and qualified to offer assistance, to hopefully solve the issue or escalate to
Charlton and Jenrick on your behalf.

Salamander stoves

18. Warranties & Liability

  • 18.1 All goods supplied by Salamander stoves Ltd. come with a manufacturer’s warranty of at least 12 months. A number of products contain ‘consumable’ parts of which the lifetime is determined by use and are not therefore covered by the warranty. These include, but are not limited to grates, baffle plates, fire bricks and glass.
  • 18.2 The stated warranties are on a parts only basis. We do not have service engineers on the road.
  • 18.3 Salamander stoves Ltd. shall provide the Buyer with such information as is required to claim under the manufacturer’s warranties. In the event of a claim, the Buyer shall in the first instance contact salamanderstoves.com’s customer service department.
  • 18.4 Salamander stoves Ltd. does not provide any warranty cover against defects in his own right.
  • 18.5 In any event and despite anything contained in these conditions, in no circumstances shall Salamander stoves Ltd. be liable in contract, tort (including negligence or breach of statutory duties) or otherwise howsoever, and whatever the cause thereof, (i) for any increased costs or expenses (ii) for any loss of profit, business contracts, revenues or anticipated savings, or (iii) for any special indirect or consequential damage of any nature whatsoever.
  • 18.6 5 year Warranty claims must be supported by photographic evidence and a written description of the issue, either via email or standard post.
  • 18.7 Post installation warranty claims must also supported by identification details of the installer from the relevant regulatory body.
  • 18.8 Colour finishes are not covered under the warranty. Initial over-firing of the stove on the first 1 to 3 fires can cause the paint not to cure or adhere to the surface properly, resulting in the paint flaking off thereafter. Salamander stoves Ltd. will only accept liability for this when the customer can demonstrate that they had 3 small fires initially to ensure successful curing and adherence of the paint finish.
