We're Supporting The Business For Good Fund!
By donating £10 per member of staff per year, Green Man Stoves is supporting local community projects in and around Herefordshire. The Fund focuses on; children and young people; families; community cohesion; fundraising efforts; grant procurement; and economic aid.
The Herefordshire Community Foundation manages the Fund and is also matching each donation. They have helped raise £748,110 between 592 grants from 2023 to 2024. Recent projects include -
- Surviving Winter Appeal (since 2011)
- Flood Appeal (in partnership with the Hereford Times)
- Help for Refugees Appeal (since 2022, in response to the war in Ukraine)
- Household Support Fund (with the Herefordshire Council & Government, since 2022/23)
- Let’s Create Fund (on behalf of Arts Council England, since 2021/22)
- Covid recovery Funding (from Herefordshire Council), Covid Relief Funding (from the National Emergencies Trust, 2020/21), and Laptop2kids campaign (during lockdown)
- Logistics Aid (since 2022)
- Knife Angel Hereford (since 2020)
