A quick Covid 19 update regarding how we’re going forward following the UK Governments new Lockdown announcement.
The guidance is clear that tradespeople are able to work in other people’s homes.
We’re going to continue ensuring our customers are safe to heat their homes using solid fuel stoves in the coming months. The usual advice re: getting your chimney swept and maintaining your stove is more important than ever this year, as stoves are likely to be lit more often.
We have robust Covid 19 risk assessments and procedures in place.
We would ask that households we’re visiting read the Customer Covid 19 Statements we send out and help us protect our and your safety by following and respecting the procedures we’ve put in place. We would also ask that you let us know as soon as possible if anyone in your household is undertaking a self isolating period following a positive test or associated symptoms. We can be flexible and will reschedule you.
If you are concerned and would like to delay your appointment – we can do that, please talk to us. The more notice you can give us the more appreciative we will be.
The office is still open and Sam & Nicola are still here to answer the phone and respond to emails. However, the showroom will close for now. We can do Order and Collect for spares etc over the phone, and we have been successfully doing ‘virtual’ initial visits for some time now in response to Covid 19. We can offer a lot of advice, suggestions and help over the phone (01989 218328) or via email (firstname.lastname@example.org) with photos. Technology is truly a marvellous thing.
